Welcome to Radyo Sagada
welcome
The community voice of the Indigenous peoples of Northern Philippines. Rooted in the heart of the Cordilleras, we tell the stories, dreams, and struggles of our people. Radio Sagada stands as a platform for dialogue, culture, and empowerment — by and for the community. Through our programs, we celebrate identity, safeguard heritage, and strengthen local voices.

We are the voice and face of indigenous peoples in Sagada

Radyo Sagada serves as a vibrant hub for the community, committed to providing timely, appropriate, and relevant information and entertainment to its listeners.
Radyo Sagada invests in capacity building, offering training to local schools and communities in media and journalism. These programs cover essential skills, including:
- Basic radio broadcasting
- Fundamentals of journalism
- Photojournalism
- Audio-video productions
These are possible through strong partnerships with the Photojournalism Center of the Philippines, Kodao Productions, and the National Union of Journalists in the Philippines-Cordillera. International partners such as PAWANKA Fund, Cultural Survival, Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact, Taiwan Foundation for Democracy and International Media Support made local initiatives possible. In a significant move to cultivate young talent, Radyo Sagada launched its Junior Broadcasters fellowship program for elementary students in 2024.
Extending its impact beyond media, Radyo Sagada actively supports community well-being and sustainable practices. In partnership with the technical vocational institute, Salt and Pepper Agricultural Learning Center Inc. (SAPALCI), it offers practical trainings on organic agricultural production.
Radyo Sagada contributes in local governance and conflict resolution. As a voice that raises controversial community issues in formal local government meetings and special bodies, since the station holds seats in key councils.
